Council meetings to be held on Skype
To help and support everyone to stay at home the Council will introduce Skype Council meetings so you can keep in touch with the important decision making in your local area.
The Planning Committee on Thursday 23 April at 7pm will be available to view via a webcast.
Councillor Ian Moran, Leader of West Lancashire Borough Council, said: "We are really pleased that we can continue essential meetings and keep residents informed whilst they stay safe at home."
Councillor Gareth Dowling, Chairman of the Planning Committee, added: "Planning Committees are always well attended by our residents. Although we cannot hold the meetings in the usual way at the moment this is a great alternative for those who would normally attend, and importantly this retains the opportunity for public speaking on applications in accordance with existing procedures."
The procedures are outlined in section 14 in our constitution section.
