Folk music nights at Ormskirk's Chapel Gallery are hitting all the right notes with fans and some fabulous entertainers are lined up to play in its Event Space.
The Gallery folk nights feature great music and fantastic food and, after the success of the opening night with 'Country Folk' & 'LocTup Together', the Bram Taylor Band are next to provide the entertainment on Thursday 23 May.
The band's popular leader Bram Taylor has a wealth of experience having established a fine reputation both here and abroad, performing at folk festivals, folk clubs, arts centres and other concert venues in the UK, USA, Canada and Europe.
Then on 20 June Bob Fox, a singer who has been regarded as one of the iconic voices of British Folk music for more than 40 years takes to the stage at the Gallery. Don't miss this chance to experience his warm, rich voice, virtuoso guitar style and melodeon playing skills. Expect to hear songs of love, joy, work and humour as he performs material from War Horse, newly-written songs from the New Radio Ballad Series and old favourites from his many recordings.
John Harrison, Director of Development and Regeneration, said: "It is a privilege to have these wonderful artists perform at the Chapel Gallery for music fans to enjoy."
The Gallery will be open for food and drink from 6pm and music is expected to start at 7.30pm. Menus are available at Chapel Gallery (external link).
All tickets must be purchased in advance via Chapel Gallery (external link) or from the Gallery on 01695 571328.
Tickets for the Bram Taylor Band are £10 each. For Bob Fox they are £15 each.
