Improvements to Communal Bin Areas in Blythewood and Enstone – Starting 12 August

We would like to make West Lancashire residents aware that works to improve to the communal bin areas in Blythewood and Enstone in Skelmersdale are to begin on Monday 12 August and are expected to last for up to 2 weeks.

Following consultation between West Lancashire Borough Council, Street Scene and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Services, a new scheme has been approved to install new bin areas for general and recycling waste. The new general waste and recycling bins will be exclusively for residents and will be emptied on the same day that their bins are currently collected. The bins will also be in a fixed position.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and would ask that residents observe any warning/information signs in place during this period, as these are there for your own safety and comfort as well as the contractor operatives undertaking the works.
