Please join us as we remember those who have lost their lives to coronavirus

We hope you will join us in remembering all those we have lost to coronavirus.

We are holding a minutes silence with our staff at 11am on 30 September and we will light up the Clock Tower in Ormskirk and the Lightcube in Skelmersdale from dusk on that day. Residents can join us or take time during the week at a time to suit them to reflect on the last 6 months.

Councillor Ian Moran, Leader of West Lancashire Borough Council, said: "Coronavirus has affected all our lives and many of us will have lost someone close. I hope you will join us in a moment of reflection as we remember those who have passed away during the pandemic and think about the tremendous work the NHS, Council staff and volunteers have done to help our communities. Let's keep that great spirit going, and let's work together to beat the coronavirus."
