Save money while visiting Ormskirk this Christmas

West Lancashire Borough Council is helping visitors to Ormskirk save money this Christmas by offering them the chance to park for up to five hours for just £1 when shopping and socialising in the town centre.

Up to and including Tuesday 24 December 2019 drivers who pay for parking in Council car parks in Ormskirk town centre will receive an additional two hours free parking.

This means if they pay just £1 they can park for up to five hours instead of three in all Council run car parks except for Derby Street. So if you are planning to meet friends for lunch or a coffee for a Christmas catch up and fancy browsing around some interesting shops, then you can now spend more time enjoying everything Ormskirk has to offer.

Motorists should check car park signage to make sure it is Council-controlled and display the valid ticket they have paid for. Notices explaining the offer will be on display. The two extra free hours will not be shown on the ticket. Council Civil Parking Enforcement Officers are aware of the offer and will allow for the extra two hours.

Parking is free of charge on Council-controlled car parks in Ormskirk town centre on Sundays and Bank Holidays throughout the year.
