We started our general consultation on the LDF Core Strategy in June 2008 with a set of workshops at the Local Strategic Partnership annual conference. Following this, we held three open public meetings - 'spatial forums' - to discuss planning issues for West Lancashire. The feedback report below summarises the main points people made at these public meetings.

To focus discussion onto specific parts of West Lancashire, we divided the borough into three areas - northern, western and eastern parishes. For each area we provided maps illustrating the unique issues in each settlement.
