Chequer Lane Lake, Up Holland

Chequer Lane Lake is a scenic countryside recreation area complete with pond and small wooded area. Local residents can enjoy a short walk and there are benches where you can sit and enjoy the wildlife that live in and visit the site.

There are a number of fishing pegs around the lake allowing people of all ages to have a go at fishing in a friendly and peaceful environment, although fishing is only permitted during daylight hours.

The site also contains a small fenced play area providing play facilities for younger children to enjoy in a safe environment.

Chequer Lane Fishing Lake is situated close to the M58 motorway on Chequer Lane in Up Holland, with Up Holland Train Station (external link) providing the nearest public transport link at just a short ten minute walk away.
