Stanley Coronation Park, Skelmersdale

Stanley Coronation Park benefits from a network of footpaths and seating areas that allow you to get away from the hustle and bustle.

The park boasts a range of recreation facilities including a play area, a full size crown green bowling green complete with an indoor pavilion, outdoor gym equipment and much more - come and take a look for yourself! 

Please note that although the play areas are open there aren't any hand sanitising facilities on site. if visiting, please ensure that you bring hand sanitiser and sanitise your hands before and after using the equipment

  • Multi-use games area suitable for playing both football and basketball
  • Bowling green and pavilion 
  • Outdoor fitness equipment available for use free of charge. The equipment is designed to work against your own body weight to allow a full cardio-vascular workout for all major muscle groups.  

How to find us

Stanley Coronation Park is located on Sandy Lane on the outskirts of Skelmersdale town centre. 

For easiest access by car, at junction 4 on the M58 take the A5068 exit to Skelmersdale town centre. Shortly after, at the first roundabout, take the first exit onto Railway Road/B5312 and continue straight until you approach a roundabout that signposts Witham Road. At this roundabout, take the fourth exit onto Witham Road and turn right onto Sandy Lane.  

The nearest train links are available at Up Holland Train Station (external link). For bus links, refer to the Arriva website (external link) for up to the minute information.
