Green Fayre Mascot Competition

Competition Brief

West Lancashire Ranger Service is offering primary school pupils across the Borough a chance to participate in a mascot competition for the Green Fayre event on 22nd and 23rd July 2023. The mascot will represent all things sustainability, recycling and the Green Fayre!

What is the Green Fayre?

The Green Fayre is a zero plastic event and provides fun for all in a sustainable manner. It is a celebration of both the countryside and countryside living, with traders and exhibitors showcasing traditional crafts and techniques, working natural materials into products and goods that we use in day-to-day life.

Can you design a recycling mascot?

Your Green Fayre mascot will be the star of the show, helping visitors to find their way around, recycle, and will lead the countryside celebrations! Your happy mascot should include green and stand out from the crowd to encourage everyone to be eco-friendly!

Give your name a mascot if you like!

If you win...

The winning entry will be transformed into a cartoon mascot who will play a vital role in the Green Fayre, featuring on leaflets, signs, recycling stations and much more! The winner and two runners up will also receive gift vouchers and other prizes!

Entries must be submitted by Friday 31st March 2023 via email to amy.carroll@westlancs.gov.uk
