Polling Review 2024
West Lancashire Borough Council is legally required to complete a review of all polling districts and polling places every five years. The review will not consider ward or parliamentary constituency boundaries.
The review is designed to see if the polling districts and polling places across West Lancashire suit the needs of voters.
"Polling district boundaries" are geographical electoral areas within each ward in the Borough.
"Polling places" are the buildings or areas where electors in a polling district go to vote.
"Polling stations" are the issuing desks in the building or area which is designated the polling place.
We welcome your views on existing polling arrangements, and suggestions for alternatives.
Your comments will be used to write a report including recommendations for changes to polling places, which will be reviewed and determined by Councillors within full Council.
