Welcome to "Your Voice… West Lancashire"

  • Council launches feedback 'hub' for residents
  • One-stop-shop for views across a range of topics
  • Training available for those who need help to get online

West Lancashire Borough Council have launched a brand-new interactive online hub for residents in recognition of the important role residents' feedback plays in making changes and improvements to our services.

Your Voice…West Lancashire is an all-in-one digital engagement platform, designed to forge meaningful connections with customers by providing an easy and secure way for you to engage and participate with us in a variety of ways.

We want to ensure our customers' voices are at the heart of everything we do.  We believe by enabling our customers to provide feedback through a range of discussion, engagement, and involvement opportunities, we will not only be able to use the feedback to shape and improve our services, but we can further achieve our priority to create empowered, engaged, and inclusive communities.

Councillor Ian Moran, Leader of West Lancashire Borough Council, said: "The views of our residents shape everything we do.  We wanted an engaging and easy way for residents to tell us what they think and Your Voice West Lancashire is a fantastic improvement to how our customers can interact with us."

You can access the home page  via the Council website where you will see that we have started to publish several consultations for customers to get involved in.  Or you can visit www.letstalkwestlancashire.uk.engagementhq.com/

Within Your Voice…West Lancashire is our 'Tenant Hub' that enables tenants to engage with us when and how they want to, based on their feedback.  The platform is designed to provide customers with the opportunity to have their say on matters that mean the most to them about housing services and projects.  The feedback we receive through the hub will enable us to implement meaningful changes to our housing service, ensuring the customer voice is heard throughout.

Need support getting online?

We understand not everyone has the skills or confidence to get online.  To support this, we have developed a partnership support offer with We Are Digital, to provide free remote 1-2-1 training and support sessions, to help our customers to develop the skills and confidence to get online.

There is a wide range of training to be accessed.  Courses focus on everything from basic IT skills and introductions to specific programs, right through to comprehensive and advanced user experiences.  The training is tailored to your needs and interests to help you learn the digital skills and help to build your confidence to make your life that little bit easier in the future.

If you don't have a device of your own and/or access to Wi-Fi/data, please don't let this be a barrier stopping you access this support.  Through the project, we can supply you with a device and internet access free of charge.  Once you have completed a minimum of six hours of training you get to keep the device.

If you want to speak to someone about accessing the training sessions, please text WEST LANCS and your name to 07825 844 417 or call us directly on 01695 585 216 (standard charges apply).
