Armistice Day 2025

ARMISTICE SERVICE – TUESDAY 11 NOVEMBER, CORONATION PARK

There will be a short service and a two-minute silence at the War Memorial in Coronation Park, Ormskirk. Guests usually gather at around 10.45am on Tuesday 11 November 2025. All are welcome. The Mayor, Councillor Anne Fennell and Mayoress, Councillor Sarah Lawton will be leading the Armistice Service.

HMS RINGTAIL MONUMENT, PIPPIN STREET, RINGTAIL RETAIL PARK

There will be a short service and a two-minute silence after which wreaths will be laid at the monument. Guests usually gather at around 10.30am on Tuesday 11 November. All are welcome. The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Suresh Patel  and Deputy Mayoress, Mrs Patel on this occasion will be laying a wreath on the Mayor's behalf.
