Ormskirk Market

See what our fabulous historic market has to offer!

Come and enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes on offer at Ormskirk Market and pick up some great bargains.

For more information about events at Ormskirk Market, visit Discover Ormskirk (external link).

With up to 100 stalls every market day on the pedestrianised areas of Moor Street, Aughton Street and Church Street, there really is something for everyone. If you haven't been for a while then there is bound to be something new you haven't seen or tried before.

The wide range of wonderful food includes fresh cakes and fabulous fish as well as fresh meat, fruit and veg, cheeses, bread and pies.

If you are looking for something new to wear there are a large number of stalls to choose from and there is clothing for children available too.

The bookseller has a great range of titles, and you can also buy home furnishings and other household goods, dried flowers, cards and gifts and a wide range of other goods.

Getting to Ormskirk Market couldn't be easier as the stalls are within a few minutes walk of a number of town centre car parks and Ormskirk Train Station and Ormskirk Bus Station.

You can park on a council-controlled car park for three hours for just £1, so you have plenty of time to browse around the stalls and local shops, and stop for a coffee and a bite to eat in one of the many town centre eateries.

Or why not pay a visit to Coronation Park, a great place for children to run off some energy once the shopping is done?

The Chapel Gallery and Ormskirk Parish Church are also great town centre places to visit.

We're really proud to offer a street market in West Lancashire and if you are a market trader, we would love to hear your story. Please get in touch with comms.team@westlancs.gov.uk
